Creative History

Yummy-ScrummyThe visit starts with a stressed research and development officer, Prof. Strangequark, needing help to sort out a muddle of exhibits. Uncertain of the audience’s historical knowledge Prof. Strangequark builds a timeline with them that relates to the historical periods covered by the exhibition. Don’t be surprised if hats and wigs are used to bring the timeline to life. The audience become researchers or testers and makers and asked to investigate the items they are curious about. The researchers recordings come together to make a catalogue of information that is left with the teachers. The model’s made by the ‘testers and makers’ are a potential display in themselves. The visit ends with everyone coming together to share what they have discovered, noticed and been excited by. No visit is ever the same! Photo GalleryClick on a picture to enlarge...
