| | Creative History has teamed up with King
John's House & Tudor Cottage Trust Ltd to create unique fact-based
role-play and activity mornings set in a complex of Medieval, Tudor and
Victorian buildings in Romsey,
Hampshire. Experience
a hands-on, interactive, fun-packed, teacher-led, museum-based morning.
We
currently offer three different experience mornings:
- '1571 - The Year of Change'. Step back to Tudor
times and role-play a feast to celebrate the return of the master of the
house, John Alyf who is worried about the sale of the building and change of
landlord. Engage in activity workshops to further experience Tudor
times.
- 'A Celebration at the Victorian
Workhouse'. Become the inmates of the workhouse and be allowed to
witness the Trustees celebratory meal. If you are are very good and show sufficient
learning then you may have your bread. Also enjoy activity workshops
that allow you to experience Victorian life.
- 'A Victorian Christmas'. Available
in November and December each year come and partake of Christmas at the
workhouse.
