What interested the children?

  • 'I was interested in what the boys had to wear'

  • 'I liked the funny bits when she didn't know what things were' (zips)'

  • 'writing with quills. I was surprised I didn't get all inky.'

  • 'making felt pouches'

  • 'I enjoyed the activities'

  • 'the story was interesting'

  • 'I found it interesting what she told us about the plague'

  • 'going back in time'

  • 'it was fun'

  • 'the clouts she was wearing ' (clothes)

  • 'I liked the activities best, like rubbing coins'

  • 'I liked making the pouch'

  • 'finger knitting'

  • 'bead threading'

  • 'finger weaving. Yes it was brilliant'

  • 'making pouches'

Reasons they gave to persuade teachers to bring back the visitor:

  • 'I because we learned a lot and did some super drawing'

  • 'It was fun - you were nice'
